KIDS ON THE BLOCK

Serving the Santa Barbara community since 1989, Kids on the Block® explores a wide range of important social issues through puppet presentations to school aged children. Las Aletas volunteers, using 3-foot-tall puppets, perform at local pre-school and elementary schools using carefully developed scripts to educate and engage young audiences. This unique program fosters discussions about issues such as name-calling, bullying, divorce, safety, and accepting people’s differences.
