Santa Barbara Smiles

Established in 2005, Santa Barbara Smiles serves approximately  1000 children and 600 adults each year. Santa Barbara Smiles provides dental health education for low-income children and adults in Santa Barbara at the Eastside Family Dental Clinic. Volunteers are trained to discuss good dental hygiene and nutrition with families in half-hour sessions. Assistance League volunteers provide dental hygiene kits at the clinic and at school-based health fairs sponsored by the County Public Health Department.

Vision Statement: Improve lives of residents in Santa Barbara County by providing financial, educational, and social support to children and adults in need.

Mission Statement: Assistance league of Santa Barbara is a nonprofit all-volunteer organization that develops and implements programs to benefit children and adults in Santa Barbara County.
