Our Philanthropic Programs Kids on the Block® Perform for kindergarten through third graders with life-size puppets teaching them about safety, bullying, divorce, and accepting others differences. Operation Bookshelf Visit monthly with an elder and deliver books, audiobooks, CDs, and large print books through our partnership with Goleta Valley Library. Operation School Bell Goleta Help elementary children from Goleta Union School District and Head Start choose new school clothes and supplies at our “store” at the Goleta Valley Community Center. Teen School Bell Shop with Goleta Valley Junior High, San Marcos High and Dos Pueblos High teens at local stores to choose new school clothes. Find Out More We hope to meet you! Las Aletas Auxiliary - "The Little Wings" Since 1964, women who want to be active but need flexible hours and time commitments have flocked to our Auxiliary. We meet in the evenings September through May and encourage you to join anytime! Our expectations are simple: • Give back to the community - volunteer for one of our four philanthropies • Work in the Assistance League® of Santa Barbara Thrift Shop to help raise money • Come to our meetings and social events • Pay your dues - $75 annually
